Enlit is passionate about supporting and facilitating the engagement between next-gen talent and the industry - after all, many will become leaders of the energy industry in the future.

As part of this ongoing effort, Enlit is once again offering final-year and postgraduate students, as well as young professionals with less than 5 years of experience in the industry, the opportunity to attend Enlit Europe as a ‘Future Energy Leader’, providing full access to all the event has to offer, including opportunities for career development.

You will have free access to the Summit Programme, where you can learn about and understand the strategic and business issues taxing the brains of today’s industry leaders and what is being done to address them. The programme will be released soon.

If you're interested in the applied side, you can also enjoy the Hub Sessions Programme, where the latest technology advances and ground-breaking case studies are presented, covering all aspects of the energy transition. The programme will be released soon.

CONNECT WITH PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYERS

With companies and organisations from across the whole value chain of the energy transition present on the exhibition floor, you will have plenty of opportunities to visit and connect with them to gather information on the companies and what career opportunities they offer. Enlit Europe also has created a Connect space purely for networking: over the three days of the event, there will be a number of dedicated networking sessions and events taking place, with one for the Future Energy Leaders being planned. Stay tuned - more information to follow soon.

PRESENT YOURSELF TO THE INDUSTRY

Enlit Europe is also organising a number of dedicated lunchtime sessions where Future Energy Leaders have the opportunity to present themselves and share with the Enlit Europe audience findings from their research, their solution for any Challenge they’ve worked on or the final or preliminary outcomes from a project they’ve been involved in.

There will be a Call for Abstracts in late Summer, with submissions selected for a 10-minute presentation by a panel of industry experts. More information will be available soon.

Criteria to qualify as a Future Energy Leader

To attend as a Future Energy Leader, which is free of charge, you must qualify as one of the following:

  • Students with a valid student ID, enrolled in a degree programme in the energy field or a related one.
  • Recent Graduate Students (from 2020 onwards) who have completed a degree in the energy field or a related one, and are interested in pursuing a career in the energy sector.
  • Young Professionals at the start of their careers (under 30) working in the energy sector or a related one, with less than 5 years of work experience.
