Think Tank Workshop rounds off 3 days at Enlit Europe

With system resilience now perceived as a pressing issue that needs to be tackled, this year’s Think Tank Workshop, entitled ‘What do we need to do to create greater energy system resilience?’, explored what the industry can do to strengthen the resilience of Europe’s energy system.

The workshop approached the issue from a holistic, industry-wide and pan-European driven perspective, exploring the topic from 6 different angles:

Physical and infrastructure resilience
Cybersecurity and digital resilience
Supply chain and resource resilience
Energy system flexibility and reliability
Utility resilience frameworks in response to major (climate) events
Governance, policy, and social resilience

Featuring a fun interactive format, each working group discussed pros and cons and was tasked with coming up with a series of practical recommendations that can be taken forward and shared.
