Valeria Vignolo was born in Monza in 1973 and graduated in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano.

She began her professional career at ESE srl in 1999 as a Project Engineer, where she was involved in feasibility studies and basic design relevant to Thermal Power Projects

In 2003, she joined Edison Spa, initially as a Mechanical Project Engineer. In 2007, she was promoted to Project Engineer Coordinator.

Still at Edison Spa, in 2016 she was appointed Power Project & Proposal Engineering Manager, overseeing numerous combined cycle power plant projects, wind farms and mini hydropower plants.

In March 2021, Valeria joined Italgas Reti Spa as Head of Engineering, and in May 2021, she was promoted to Head of Engineering and Construction. In this context she led several projects not only related to DSO’s business as usual but also to LNG small scale storages and Power to Gas project for green hydrogen production. 

She is a member of the Board of Directors of several companies within the Italgas Group (Toscana Energia, Metano SAL, and Nepta).
