Dr Krol joined Siemens Energy as mechanical engineer followed by several assignments in technical and management roles. During his career he built up and led engineering teams, followed by roles as product line manager and in marketing for generators and gas turbines. He deeply analyzed the impact of energy transition on power generation equipment, storage and grid stability. Based on this experience he developed sustainable and stable concepts supporting municipalities, industries and country level understanding the impact of energy transition on their operations and helping to build up reliable and sustainable energy systems also considering the right storage technologies in the right step of energy transition.
