Stefan Dan Costea
Stefan Dan Costea, PhD, (m), is Senior Specialist Engineer for the Energy Systems topics, within Eaton Research Lab (ERL) Prague, Czech Republic. He has 18 years of experience in industrial R&D, as a Senior Technology Manager with Honeywell, product validation line manager for Infineon, as well as 4 years as Regional Technology Manager in Eaton. In addition to HYPERRIDE, Stefan has actively participated in other EU projects (FP7 and Horizon Europe), for industrial automation domain (SOI-HITS - sensors for high temperature applications, VIPRES – vibration sensors for structural health monitoring), and energy transition (FLOW – integration of the EV charging in the new electrical distribution). Stefan holds a MSc degree and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto, and a Master’s degree in Microsystems from Politehnica University Bucharest.
