Sotiris Pelekis is a Senior Researcher and AI Engineer at the Decision Support Systems Laboratory (NTUA). He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering on the area of Trustworthy AI in Smart Energy Grids, and an M.Sc. in Data Science and Machine Learning from the National Technical University of Athens. He specializes in trustworthy artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics for the energy and buildings sectors including energy forecasting, demand response optimization, and cybersecurity. With experience in the management of large-scale European research and innovation projects, he works at the intersection of AI, energy systems, and the green transition.
