Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Executive MBA from IESE Business School, and PDD graduate from ESADE.

With over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, Silvia has built a solid career that bridges technical expertise, strategic leadership, and innovation in renewable energy. She began her professional journey at Foster Wheeler Energía, working as a project and design engineer on major power generation projects. After a period in London in Investment Banking, she joined the energy group Viesgo in 2011, where she played a key role in regulatory affairs and corporate strategy. In 2018, she was appointed Energy Management Director, leading a 1,500 MW portfolio across thermal and renewable assets.

Since June 2021, Silvia has been part of EDP Renewables Spain, where she currently serves as Director of Strategic Growth, driving the development of renewable projects and exploring new business opportunities that support the energy transition.

In addition to her executive role, Silvia actively collaborates with academic institutions, industry associations, and business schools, contributing her insights on energy markets, sustainability, and leadership.
