Sébastien Ruiz joins EDF International Networks with a clear passion for innovation and a proven ability to thrive in operational challenges.
He most recently served as CEO of Enedis-D, a subsidiary of the French DSO Enedis, where he was responsible for delivering critical engineering services for private networks throughout France.

His 20-year career within the EDF Group spans France, England, and La Reunion Island. He consistently sought out demanding roles, encompassing pivotal leadership positions in operations (such as Deputy Director for EDF in La Reunion) and a series of forward-thinking innovation roles, including Smart Grid Director for overseas departments, R&D Director for EDF Energy (UK), and R&D Lab Director for Energy Efficiency and Decentralized Energies.

M. Ruiz holds a Master degree in Engineering and Biochemistry and a degree in Business Management. Prior to joining the EDF Group he held a number of positions in the Food, Chemical et Pharmaceutical industries both in France and in the US.
