Saadat Malik is the VP and General Manager of VMware by Broadcom’s Edge Computing Business. His team customizes VMware by Broadcom's products for edge environments and develops new edge-specific solutions. These products cater to various industries like manufacturing, retail, banking, and power. They address challenges such as hardware constraints, security, communication requirements, and IT-OT convergence. Saadat has over 20 years of experience in IoT and edge computing, having built businesses at Cisco and HPE. He authored a best-selling book on network security and co-authored the U.S. National Infrastructure Protection Plan. Saadat holds an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
