Dr. Ruben Abbas is an expert in energy systems, with a focus on concentrated solar power, power-to-heat technologies, turbomachinery, and thermal energy storage. He is an Associate Professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he leads research and innovation on advanced thermal and hybrid energy systems. Dr. Abbas has been Principal Investigator in several EU H2020 and Spanish national projects, as well as industry collaborations.
