Paul is active in public advocacy & EU affairs in Brussels since 2006. His experience in the energy policy filed covers grid integration of variable RES, R&D policy and related standardisation & engineering issues. As Eurelectric’s head of the Distribution & Market Facilitation unit, he and his team covered since 2018 all aspects of regulatory frameworks for distribution grids including infrastructure investments, flexibility, tariffs & power system resilience until he took over the Energy Policy & Sustainability team in 2022. In this current role Paul leads Eurelectric’s work on decarbonisation of the power sector including electrification of uses such as e-mobility, heating and industrial competitiveness.
