Dr. Panagiotis Tsarchopoulos is an EU Projects Manager at PRAGMA IoT Solutions and a Senior Teaching and Research Fellow at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a PhD in Smart and Intelligent Cities, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His latest research projects focus on the intersection of emerging technologies and societal benefits. His role involves coordinating collaborative efforts across diverse initiatives, including empowering citizens to achieve the energy transition, advancing renewable energy technologies, improving connected and automated mobility, enhancing building performance to increase energy efficiency, comfort, and well-being, and integrating creativity with maritime heritage to address pressing environmental issues. He has participated in over 35 research projects, primarily funded by the European Commission. He has published more than 20 articles in scientific and academic journals and conferences.
