Pablo Ruiz-Minguela
Dr Pablo Ruiz-Minguela is Head of R&D Programmes at TECNALIA, where he leads the activities related to securing public funding to support the development of cutting-edge technologies and products in the various business areas of the Energy, Climate and Urban Transition Unit.
He offers 32 years of experience in R&D at TECNALIA across diverse industrial sectors, including 19 years spearheading the development of groundbreaking wave energy technologies, has managed over 25 international research projects, and is the author of 5 patents for marine energy, 24 publications and 26 conference communications.
He sits on the Board of Directors of the European Ocean Energy Association, and has represented TECNALIA in multiple working groups and expert panels. From 2008 to 2010, he also acted as the General Manager and Technical Director of Oceantec, a spin-off created by TECNALIA and Iberdrola to develop cost-effective technologies for marine energy conversion.
