Oliver Franz is currently Vice President European Regulation at E.ON, a role he has held since 2022. In this position, he represents E.ON in European associations and additionally serves as Chair of the Distribution and Market Facilitation Committee at Eurelectric and as a vice chair to task force "Finance" at EU DSO Entity. Previously, he worked as Head of Regulatory Management at E.ON, focusing on energy and metering regulation. Before that, he gained extensive regulatory expertise as VP European Regulation at E.ON SE/innogy, including work on smart metering and e-mobility. Oliver Franz holds a Doctorate in Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) from Goethe University Frankfurt and brings deep knowledge in energy and telco regulatory affairs.
