After holding various positions in system operations and grid development planning, he is currently responsible for a team at TenneT TSO GmbH that deals with current issues of grid development and innovative solutions. One example is the grid booster, a pair of batteries that are switched on in the millisecond range in the event of a fault to cure grid overloads.
