Dr Hawkins is a Senior Consultant with Huawei, active in standardisation and industry development in the energy sector. He has many years of experience in power system operation and electricity market participation at senior level.

With Huawei, Dr Hawkins contributes to the development of standards for Electric Power Digitalisation and for Grid Forming technology. He is an active member of international, European and Italian national standardisation working groups of IEC, CENELEC and CEI with a focus on Grid Forming technical requirements and on electric power grid digitalisation.
