Myrto Tripathi
Myrto Tripathi is a specialist in the low-carbon energy transition in the fight against global warming and to the service of populations.
She is the Executive Director of the think tank The TerraWater Institute and, since 2018, the voluntary Founder and President of two environmental NGOs, Voices of Nuclear and EcoHumans. Her overarching objective through these organizations is to actively promote the use of science and technology to simultaneously address climate change, biodiversity loss and human development.
The TerraWater Institute advocates for a sound technically and environmentally optimal sustainable energy transition over the very long term, highlighting the key role of Nuclear and Hydropower in this regard.
She has participated in numerous climate initiatives, notably as a stakeholder in climate negotiations since COP 21 and the Paris Agreements as Climate Policy Director for the UN Global Compact, after spending the first 10 years of her career in the nuclear industry as EPR Offer Director in charge of export sales for the 3rd generation nuclear reactor.
She is the author of The Battle for the Climate, published by Genèse in 2020, and is a visiting professor at Sciences Po Paris, France’ top public affairs higher education school. She is frequently consulted by the media and by various organizations, institutions, and governments on energy issues.
