Michael O'Connell is the Chief Analytics Officer at Spotfire. He manages the Spotfire Field Technology teams - Data Science, Architecture, Support, Customer Success. These teams deliver a rapidly-evolving set of Spotfire Visual Data Science tools and accelerators with focus on the Energy and Manufacturing industries. Recent examples include visual analytics for Energy subsurface analysis and High-Tech Manufacturing apps for yield optimization and equipment efficiency. 

Michael did his Ph.D. work in Statistics at NC State University. He has been developing statistical software applications for the past 30 years, and has published many software packages, patents, and publications.
