Marios Bompoulos is the Director of PPC Innovation Hub, that hosts the Laboratories and Research & Innovation Centre of Public Power Corporation S.A., Greece’s largest electricity generator and provider. An Electrical Engineer by training, Mr. Bompoulos has extensive experience in managing complex projects in the Energy and Rail Network sectors. Having worked in the UK for over a decade, Mr. Bompoulos has joined the PPC team since 2022. His main interests involve the deployment of strategic initiatives and innovative digital technologies within the Energy and Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) Industry. Through his position as the Director of PPC Innovation Hub, Mr. Bompoulos is spearheading the project of creating and operating PPC’s Start-up Incubator & Accelerator. He is also managing PPC’s Innovation Fund, a tool aiming at funding promising start-ups of the Green Energy and Digital sectors.
