Maciej Turek
A graduate of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics, and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, also completed the postgraduate studies in Electric Power Quality at the University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He is the Chairman of the KT304 Technical Committee for System Aspects of Electric Power Supply at the Polish Committee for Standardization.
Since 1993, he has been involved in remote control and supervision systems for electricity distribution networks, SCADA, power system protection, power quality, smart metering, and power grid maintenance. He is currently leading innovation projects at TAURON Dystrybucja, addressing issues arising from the high saturation of low-voltage grids with prosumer installations (RES).
