Lucia Verardi is a Senior Policy Advisor at Eurogas, the Brussels-based European association representing the gas industry, including biomethane, hydrogen, and natural gas. Eurogas covers the entire value chain, from wholesale and retail to distribution and mobility.

 With a background in public affairs and policy, Lucia began her career at Eurogas focusing on buildings decarbonisation, retail markets, and consumer issues. She later specialized in sustainable finance and industry decarbonisation. Currently, Lucia coordinates Eurogas' efforts in carbon management including CCUS, ETS etc.

Before joining Eurogas, Lucia worked as a regulatory advisor in the real estate and building sectors. She holds a master’s degree in international relations with a major in EU affairs from the University LUISS Guido Carli.
