Leonardo González Alarcon
Leonardo González received the B.E. degree in Electronic Engineering from Simón Bolívar University, Venezuela, in 2015. He joined Tecnalia Research & Innovation, part of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA), in 2017, where he has worked for over seven years in Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM). His early work as researcher focused on decision-making systems, risk estimation, and remote monitoring for automated vehicles, and more recently on cybersecurity aspects of CCAM, aligning ongoing developments with secure-by-design mobility concepts in collaboration with Tecnalia’s cybersecurity teams. He currently serves as Project Manager for EU-funded and contract-based industrial R&D projects in the domain of automated and connected mobility.
