Leonardo Ambrosi is currently the Group Innovation Officer at Italgas overseeing the company’s innovation strategy, investment, partnerships and venture client activities with a focus on accelerating the digital and sustainable transformation of the utility sector exploring also new business models.

He graduated in 2005 from the Politecnico di Milano with a degree in Automation Engineering. He began his career in digital services for financial institutions and later transitioned to the energy sector, working with technology developers such as Siemens and ABB where he worked on large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects, gaining a strong foundation in engineering and operations and further developing his expertise in technology-driven transformation. Here he covered roles ranging from business development to R&D.
