Climate Action and Just Ecological Transition Technician – UGT and Climate Activist

Environmental scientist specialised in Autonomous University of Madrid. She has over a decade of experience in the environmental field, combining activism, policy development and communication.

At UGT, she works on designing and implementing trade union strategies to promote a just ecological transition that ensures workers’ rights and social inclusion. Her work focuses on policy advocacy, union training, participation in climate governance, and awareness-raising on the social and labour dimensions of the climate crisis.

She is also an Ambassador for the European Climate Pact and an environmental communicator. Laura collaborates with national media such as El País, El Español and Business Insider, and regularly participates in conferences, interviews and campaigns related to climate justice, biodiversity, youth engagement, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
