Koustuv is the Vice Presdient and Global Head of Ericsson's Utilities market vertical. Prior to this role, he was the head of Ericsson's utilities business in North America.

He brings over 30 years of experience in various facets of the power industry, and other mission critical industry verticals, telecom and public sectors.

An advocate of sustainable digital infrastructure ecosystems, he has been increasingly engaged in the evolving convergence of electric power, telecommunications and the transportation verticals.

He is an industry recognized thought leader in the areas of energy efficiency, grid automation, renewables and storage integration, network evolution, and M&A. Koustuv was nominated by PennWell (a leading industry publication) as "One of the Top 50 People in the World in Energy/ICT". 

Prior to joining Ericsson, Koustuv had P&L leadershp roles at leading companies in the ICT domain such as Deutsche Telekom/T-Systems, Siemens, GE, IBM and at a power & gas utility where he started his professional career.

He has a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in Power Systems from the Univ. of Texas. A native of Dallas, Texas he is an avid enthusiast of golf and tennis.
