Juan Virgilio Márquez holds a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid ( UPM) and has completed executive development programs ( PDD) at both IE Business School and ESADE Business School. He has over 25 years of experience in sectors such as strategic consulting, energy, telecommunications, and strategic infrastructure. Since 2016, he has served as the General Director of the Spanish Wind Energy Association ( AEE). He also currently holds other positions, including President of the REOLTEC Technology Platform, member of  Management Committee of WindEurope- the European wind energy association-, member of the Board of Directors of UNE ( Spanish Association for Standardization) , the Executive Committee of the Forum for Electrification, and the Market Agents Committee ( CAM) of the Iberian Electricity Market Operator.
