Jonas van den Bogaard is Digital Strategy Lead at Alliander, a Dutch distribution system operator (DSO) responsible for delivering reliable, affordable, and accessible energy across large parts of the Netherlands. In this role, Jonas provides digital-specific research and strategic insights into what drives value in the evolving digital energy system, the digital energy market, and the transformation toward a digitally enabled grid operator.

He specializes in identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnerships that drive digital transformation and foster open innovation. Jonas plays a leading role in Alliander’s Open Source Program Office (OSPO), where he promotes open source collaboration and the adoption of open source technologies. He also represents Alliander on the LF Energy Technical Advisory Council, contributing to the global energy transition through open source collaboration.
