I currently serve as Director of Treatment for the North Zone at Urbaser, overseeing waste management operations across Cantabria, Asturias, the Basque Country and Navarre. My professional journey includes leading roles at Urbaser, Tircantabria and Everé, where I managed large-scale Waste-to-Energy (WtE) facilities in Spain and France. These projects involved advanced energy recovery systems and strategic oversight of integrated treatment centres. Since March 2024, I have been President of AEVERSU, representing Spain’s WtE sector and serving as Vice-President of CEWEP at the European level. I actively promote energy recovery as a sustainable solution in national and international forums.
