Jannik Carl
Jannik is an Associate in Aurora’s Pan-European Research team, where he is leading the work on strategic reports on renewables and hybrid projects. Since joining the company in 2021, Jannik has contributed significantly to numerous projects on French, German and Dutch energy markets, as well as cross-country analyses.
In his current role, Jannik was in charge of Aurora's European co-location report, comparing the regulatory and economic landscape for hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (RES) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Europe. In addition, he led the development of Aurora's first-ever European Guarantees of Origin model, investigating how a system of timestamped (hourly) GoOs could aid the energy system and industrial offtakers' decarbonisation ambitions.
