For the past six years I have been working for SP Energy Networks. I joined the company as a Trainee Operational Engineer, based in the Merseyside District covering the Liverpool, St.Helens, Widnes and Southport areas. During this time i carried out a number of operational task on the distribution network for 3 years. I then moved onto the trial of the LV Support room, this trial was successful and I was granted a permanent role within the support room as a Project Engineer. This role allowed me to analyse any network data that was provided to us via electronic measuring and monitoring equipment installed on the network. this prompted the business to make advanced decisions on where to repair and reinforce the network proactively. After two years in this role, I have now been given the position of the Senior Project Engineer within the department.
