Ilias Zafeiropoulos graduated for the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and received a Ph.D. degree in Power Systems. He has strong academic and professional background in electrical engineering. He has been a lecturer at the University of the Aegean, teaching graduate and post graduate courses in Stochastic Processes, Simulation and Reliability Engineering. He has worked for over 15 years for the Transmission System Operator of Greece in the System Planning, Maintenance and Asset Management Departments. He has over 10 years’ experience as a senior researcher in many Research and Innovation projects and he has published over 30 publications in journals and conference proceedings. Currently, he holds the position of Technology Director at UBITECH ENERGY.
