Hubert Dupin
Hubert Dupin has over 20 years of experience in the gas and electricity sector. He holds degrees from École Centrale Paris and a PhD from Stanford University. He began his career at Gaz de France as an R&D project manager, later contributing to energy market liberalization in the strategy division. He then led engineering projects and served as operations manager at GrDF, overseeing services for 660,000 gas customers.
At EDF, Hubert held roles including Deputy Director of the National Hydraulics and Environmental Laboratory, Head of Methods and International Projects in the nuclear engineering division, and Senior Consultant at EDF Conseil, specializing in project management.
In 2019, he joined Enedis to lead its flexibility roadmap, integrating flexibility into planning, operations, and market activities. Currently, he coordinates Enedis’s contributions to European technical initiatives.
Hubert is an active member of the EU-DSO Entity expert group on Distributed Flexibility and Network Planning. He contributed to drafting the Network Code on Demand Response and led the DSO team, in collaboration with ENTSO-E, to develop the Flexibility Needs Assessment Methodology.
