Harry van der Weijde
Harry van der Weijde is Head of Research and Market Development at Open Energy Transition (OET), where he leads innovation in open-source energy planning and supports utilities and system operators in adopting open solutions. He holds a PhD in Spatial Economics and has conducted applied research at the University of Edinburgh, the University of Cambridge, and VU Amsterdam, and served as an advisor on Dutch energy policy at TNO. Harry combines academic rigor with practical implementation experience in data-driven energy systems modelling and policy analysis, helping stakeholders turn data into actionable decisions for a faster, fairer, and more transparent energy transition.
