Guillermo Díaz-Sainz is a member of the DePRO Research Group (Development of Chemical Processes and Pollution Control) and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Cantabria. His research activities and mid- to long-term interests focus on the development of innovative processes for CO₂ capture and its photo- and electrochemical conversion into value-added products, alongside the production of green hydrogen through electrolysis.
