Guilherme Castro
Guilherme brings over 12 years of diverse experience, including public policies, energy systems and tech innovation. He discovered his passion for energy & sustainability while leading the first circular economy project of his State government in Brazil. Over the past seven years, he has focused on energy transition in the UK, from managing community-owned solar plants to designing new business models for decentralised energy assets. Guilherme has helped various scale-ups with innovation like Octopus Energy, and most recently Faculty AI, where he developed bespoke AI solutions for energy companies like OVO and NESO. He is also member of the Energy Institute's Digital Transformation and World Energy Council's Future Energy Leaders boards.
