Gorka Naveran is an Electronic Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in engineering projects, 8 of them in Horizon 2020. He currently coordinates the Exploitation Tools and R&D&I department, managing areas to improve efficiency. He is the coordinator of the FEDECOM project, which develops a technical and business ecosystem to demonstrate the advantages of sector coupling in European communities. The integration of local energy systems through the federation of communities will bring economic benefits, improve grid stability and reliability, and reduce the overall carbon footprint.
