Georg Hartner
Georg works with the Austrian Energy Association, GEODE, FH Upper Austria, and Entarc.eu, and is a key contributor to the Implementing Acts on Data Interoperability in the energy sector. He serves as Vice-Chair of the EU DSO Entity’s Expert Group on Data Interoperability and, as a member of the Expert Group on Distributed Flexibility, is part of the development team for the System Operator proposal for the new Network Code on Demand Response. In Austria, he collaborates closely with ebUtilities.at and EDA GmbH to continually advance national energy data exchange.
Georg is the enterprise architect, Technical Coordinator and co-founder of both Project EDDIE ( https://eddie.energy ) and Project INSIEME ( https://insieme.energy ), the latter now running with 54 key European partners to deploy solutions demonstrating the benefits of a Common European Energy Data Space (CEEDS) in 16+ Member States and operationalise the components and services needed for streamlined, digital, flexible and participative energy data exchange across Europe.
