Erkinai Derkenbaeva
Erkinai Derkenbaeva is an energy transition researcher at the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions.
Her work focuses on urban energy transition, particularly on developing Positive Energy Districts. Her expertise and research interests include households’ technology adoption decision-making, energy transition business models, energy poverty and justice, energy communities, electric mobility, and complex adaptive systems.
Erkinai is a co-founder of a start-up that focuses on public-private partnership in the energy transition and is a member of the Future Energy Leaders of the World Energy Council and the OSCE Pool of Young Experts (energy security domain).
