- graduated in Energy Technology at Genoa University (Italy) in 1997
- PhD in Combustion Chemistry from Åbo Akademi University (Finland) in 2002
- Joined Foster Wheeler as Research Specialist in 2006, then continued as R&D manager in Combustion Chemistry and Materials
- Director of R&D and Patents since 2014 in Foster Wheeler, which became AMEC Foster Wheeler, and ultimately Sumitomo SHI FW.
