Cristian Montoya is an energy executive with international experience across renewable energy, flexibility, energy trading, and retail supply.

A graduate of Mines Paris and recognised in 2021 as one of the World Energy Council’s 100 Future Energy Leaders, he has held leadership roles at Flexcity by Veolia, Alpiq, and was the former Managing Director of Iberdrola Energie France.

Since the beginning of 2025, he is the CEO of Ekwateur, driving the transformation of the company, the international expansion, investment in renewable energy, flexibility and integrated energy solutions for homes, businesses, and territories.
