Claudio Sanna, Chairman of Elevion Group | ITALY, graduated in Aeronautical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan and further specialized in Economics and Finance at the Bocconi University Business School in Milan.

As an experienced C-level manager, he has an extensive track record in defining and implementing development and positioning strategies in the bioenergy sector, with a deep focus on biomethane for both the industrial and public sectors.

Throughout his executive roles at prominent European and Italian energy companies such as CEO of Linea Group Holding, General Manager in Start Romagna, and other apical roles in A2A Group S.p.A and ENI Sustainable Mobility he has gained a deep and comprehensive understanding of the entire bioenergy value chain and has developed new business models (including fertilizers, waste biomass treatment, AgriTech, and microalgae), which led to the creation of two of Italy's main bioenergy platform.

Since October 2023 he took on the role of Chairman of Elevion Group | ITALY with the clear mandate to consolidate the operations of Elevion Group in Italy, with a strong focus on upscaling the  biomethane production platform of the group.
