Cindy Oelbrandt received her Master’s degree in Business Sciences – International Relations, with an extra specialization in Information Technologies Management, from KU Leuven – Campus Antwerpen – Carolus in 1999. She began her career at Inetum that same year as a software engineer, later transitioning to the analysis department. 
In recent years, she has been actively engaged in several EU projects and moved to the Business Sector Consulting department where she is focusing on consultancy within various Belgian energy and utilities companies and institutions.  
In the RENergetic project, she is involved in the evaluation, exploitation, and impact assessment of the project results, as well as in knowledge dissemination.
