Christos D. Korkas is an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Macedonia and a research associate at CERTH/ITI. He holds a PhD and Dipl.-Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His expertise lies in smart grids, optimal and adaptive control, and intelligent energy management systems. Christos has participated in numerous EU-funded research and innovation projects, focusing on the development of data-driven, demand-responsive, and energy-efficient solutions for buildings and communities. His work bridges advanced control theory with real-world applications in energy flexibility and sustainability.
