Biography – Bernd von der Heide
Bernd von der Heide graduated as Mechanical Engineer (Dipl.-Ing) in Germany.
He was working in management positions for companies specializing in power generation and environmental technologies.
In 2000, he founded M&S Umwelttechnik, which became a leading company for NOx-reduction of flue gases from WtE- and power plants.
BvdH holds several patents and presented his technical experience at international conferences. For several papers he received the “Best Paper Award” by Power-Gen.
In 2023, BvdH handed his companies over to his sons Daniel and Timo. Under the umbrella “VDH Group” there are now five family-owned companies with a turnover over 25 Mio €.
