Alper Yegin is the CEO of the LoRa Alliance, guiding its strategic direction and advancing the global adoption of LoRaWAN technology, a leading standard for low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN) in the Internet of Things (IoT). Prior to this role, he chaired the LoRa Alliance Technical Committee for eight years and served as Vice-Chair of the board for seven. With over 25 years in IoT and wireless communications, he has held senior roles at Actility, Samsung, DoCoMo, and Sun Microsystems. Yegin has contributed to global standards, holds 16 patents, and has authored numerous technical papers.
