With over 30 years of entrepreneurial success, Alex is dedicated to making advanced digital solutions practical, scalable, and widely adopted. As Executive Chairman of the 2Tokens Foundation, he helps organizations navigate digital transformation by collaborating with partners such as the Port of Rotterdam, major financial institutions, and international industry alliances.

Alex focuses on how digital technologies—from distributed systems to data-driven platforms—can reshape value chains, strengthen transparency, and enable more collaborative and efficient business models. He is particularly active in the energy sector through the Power of the Many consortium, supporting the shift toward a more decentralized, resilient, and low-marginal-cost energy system.

He advises national and international clients, government bodies, and utilities, drawing on deep experience in renewable energy, digital innovation, and ESG-related matters. His expertise also includes building multi-stakeholder ecosystems, facilitating collaboration across sectors, and aligning partners around shared digital and sustainability goals.

Regularly invited to speak at energy and technology conferences, Alex contributes to executive courses, seminars, and industry publications. He is closely involved in developing digital solutions for clean energy systems through the 2Tokens Foundation—initiatives supported by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the European Union, and various cross-sector innovation programs.
