Ainara Bidaurratzaga Calderón is the Deputy General Manager at Merytronic, a company specializing in smart grid solutions and low-voltage distribution network automation. With more than 15 years of experience in the electrical sector, she has held technical and leadership roles covering high, medium, and low-voltage infrastructures, as well as electric mobility and smart metering projects.

Her career spans international business development, project management, and coordination with major utilities across Europe and Latin America. Ainara has led multidisciplinary teams in companies such as ZIV Aplicaciones y Tecnología, EVsare (Repsol), and Ormazabal, managing strategic clients and complex technical deployments in smart grid environments.

She holds an Industrial Engineering degree with a specialization in Industrial Electronics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and an Executive MBA from Deusto Business School. Ainara also actively participates in professional networks, serving as a board member of PWN Bilbao and mentoring at Deusto Business School Alumni.
