Adriana Pop
Adriana is the E-mobility and Sustainable Transport Manager at ACEA, where she has spent the past five years advancing the green and digital transition in mobility. Since 2021, she has led ACEA’s Task Force on Electric Vehicles and Energy Integration, focusing on smart grid integration, smart charging, and the frameworks needed to enable EV flexibility.
Her expertise lies in navigating the policy and standardization frameworks that support communication across the electromobility ecosystem, translating technical topics such as ISO 15118-20, public key infrastructure, and network codes into effective legislative outcomes. She also contributes to European work on establishing a harmonized data approach for electromobility and represents ACEA in key stakeholder groups on grid connection, EV certification, and the Sustainable Transport Forum.
Adriana’s combined experience in technical frameworks and major EU legislation—such as AFIR and EPBD—as well as her involvement in the ongoing revision of the Network Codes regulations, gives her a comprehensive understanding of the system and consumer benefits that EV flexibility can unlock.
