This talk explores the ongoing transition of Bełchatów power plant from lignite coal to cleaner energy sources in Poland. As the biggest lignite-based power plant in Europe and the main power generator in Poland, Bełchatów’s transformation towards renewable energy is both urgent and highly complex.
