Power system modelling shows Europe’s flexible capacity needs will rise alongside renewables, with ENTSO‑E projecting 50–60 GW of additional flexible gas by 2035. Engine technology is well positioned to support Europe's decarbonisation targets and balance renewables with dispatchable, flexible capacity. Engine-based power plants, using gas today as a transitional fuel, and hydrogen tomorrow, supporting the transition towards a fully renewable future.
